This months poem is a very difficult read. As we welcome back the Dementia Tour to our head office on Macklin street, we thought we would use this opportunity to share with you a poem about the disease.
This year, Dementia week has changed. No longer is it about awareness, I’m pretty sure that everyone is aware of the devastation that it has on families and their lives. This year it is about action! What action can be taken to improve the lives of those living with Dementia.
One step you could take towards gaining a better understanding about what it’s like living with the disease could be to join us on Tuesday 22nd May for the Dementia Tour, a interactive experience designed to show you what it’s like to live with Dementia – there are only two spaces remaining!
