Textile Collection Service
Wathall’s has teamed up with The Salvation Army to launch a textile collection service to make life easier for bereaved families.
The two organisations now provide a free collection service for textiles, clothing, accessories and shoes when families are ready to sort through the clothes and possessions of a loved one who has passed away.
Alternatively, families can drop bags of items off at any of the Wathall’s branches listed at the bottom of the page.
Our partnership with The Salvation Army means that items of clothing are used to help others; whether that’s a warm coat given to someone who cannot afford to buy one, or money raised from the resale of items in charity shops, all proceeds go to support the charity’s vital work. Every day, frontline colleagues at The Salvation Army support people in the community; such as providing food to rough sleepers struggling to feed themselves and support to families unable to pay utility bills, as well as offering friendship to the isolated and lonely.
