Paws for Thought for TreeTops Hospice
The TreeTops Hospice sent along their mascot Nicholas Bear to our Cathedral Carol Service last week. It was all part of TreeTops challenge “Photo-Logo 100 corporate challenge” to raise donations for their latest hospice appeal. Teddy is pictured next to the Memorial Christmas Tree and was a star attraction with lots of people offering a “paws for thought” and receiving lots of hugs from Cathedral attendees!
Nicholas Bear came to thank G.Wathall & Son for their donation of £100 to Treetop’s Hospice at Risley which costs £2million a year to run and provides respite and palliative care for adults with illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis.
