Death Café – ‘lively chat…’
Tuesday 9th June is our next Death Café. The collaboration with other local organisations to bring Derby its first Death Cafe.
What is a Death Café ?… discussing mortality – over tea and cake.
What is Derby Death Café ?
Part of the national Death Café network it provides a supportive, cafe-style setting to discuss death, dying and related issues. The aim is to increase awareness and to help people make the most of their (finite) lives.
What happens ?
Tea, cake and informal discussion.Each session lasts 1 – 2 hours
No charge, no hidden agendas, no firm conclusions.
Who should think about coming?
Anyone with a personal or professional interest in mortality. Meetings are open to and respectful of people of all communities and belief systems
