Dandelions – The Relaunch

The countdown is over, and it’s time to share with you what we have been working on over the last few months!

As many of you know, we started our Dandelions journey back in 2014. Back in those early months we never knew how much we were needed. Now, 5 years on, we would like to present to you the relaunch of Dandelions with a fresh new brand, new services and resources available to not only those who have used Wathall’s, but to all.

We would like to introduce our new Bereavement Support brochure. A new 14-page booklet which contains all of the information you may need to set you on your Dandelions journey. This new booklet includes:

– Information on our meetings

– What to expect on your first visit to a group

– Information on our bereavement textile collection (launching next week)

– Where you can find Dandelion sponsored contemplation areas

– Information on our Grief Journey Programme

– Information on Grief Journey – To You our programme designed specifically for in the workplace

As well as how to get in contact with us so we can signpost you to specific support using our extensive network of support.

That’s not all we have been working on. After researching resources that we could offer our Dandelions, we found that we couldn’t find an affordable and grief specific journal that was suitable for all adults. After many months of discussion and a few months of designing, we would like to introduce to you the Dandelions Journal! This 100 page journal includes activities designed to support you on the toughest days, a space for you to write down your thoughts and feelings as well as inspiring and heartfelt quotes regularly throughout the book. These are available for anyone to purchase at £6.50 with free postage. The Journals will be free to anyone who attends any future Greif Journey Programmes as they are used as a key tool in the programme.
