Ashbourne Dandelions Grief Journey Programme

Booking is now open for the first Ashbourne Dandelions Grief Journey Programme. The programme will be running on 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd February at 10:30am-12:30PM at The Surgery, Clifton Road, Ashbourne. To benefit from this course, attendance to all four sessions is required. Pre-booking is essential, and spaces for previous programmes have filled up fast. Should you be unsuccessful in securing a place, you will be added to the waiting list for the next available programme.

The Dandelions Grief Journey Programme is designed to equip you with the tools, knowledge and a fresh mindset to come to terms with your grief, helping you work towards your future. Run by experienced facilitators, the programme uses the foundations of The Grief Journey programme, created by Dr. Bill Webster, but has been updated with recent findings, introducing our own and unique format. The programme sessions are informal, and you are welcome to bring along a friend for extra support.

Over four weeks the programme participants and facilitators meet once a week for two-hour sessions, in which you will cover how grief affects people, confronting emotions and loneliness. The programme is aimed at anyone who has experienced a bereavement, whether that be recent or many years ago. The programme offers a safe place for grieving people to express grief freely, without the worry of feeling judgement. The programme is free of charge and tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
