Wathall’s works in partnership with Derby County Football Club as a Rams Preferred Partner which enables families to have special access to Pride Park Stadium following the unique and personal funeral of their loved one.
Options include the chance to place a commemorative brick and ashes around the stadium perimeter, using the club logo and colours for flower arrangements and coffins, and inclusion in the remembrance book at the stadium. Wathall’s can also arrange with DCFC other services such as pitch side access and stadium tours whilst attending internment of ashes.
All are available either as part of a funeral pre-payment plan or for a funeral currently being arranged.
Wathall’s also supports the club’s ‘Rams Remember’ programme which has dedicated fixtures throughout the season.
How to buy a memorial brick
This fitting tribute to any DCFC fan is a unique way to have a lasting memorial in their name. Each brick is made with Black Brazillian Honed Slate with silver engraving and is located by the East Stand at Pride Park Stadium.
Choosing a memorial brick and prices:
- Memorial brick only: £75
- Memorial service with family present: £75
- Memorial brick including ashes to be interred: £95
- Memorial service including ashes to be interred with family present: £105
